well not really just an IR question but here go's

whenever I make gifs with a trasparent BG it always gets some white crap around the edges of it
IE.

anything I can do?

Layers>>>matting>>>remove white mat

...or change the matte color to match the background you are placing the gif on.

Just save the image as a GIF instead of JPEG http://www.uploadit.org/champt10/Sig.gif
