when creating webpages in photoshop how big do u make the canvas? thankx

depends on where you live and what size comp most people have 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768

I ususally use 955x600 as its basically a 1024x768 screen resolution with internet explorer maximised

I usually do around 760x600. I think that's the largest any of those strange people down on 800x600 can see in a maximized browser.

well after reading some. i saw that max size on a 800X600 res is like 743X390. that has it so there no scrolling. i think thats kinda small. well i have mine at 1024X768. when creating pages should i just create them so i can see it good. so it's layout is going off my screen res or should i do the 800X600 res cause i know lots of people still use that

i think more people use 1024x768 over 800x600

I use 1280x1024 as a desktop resolution, and a screenshotted IE explorer as canvas...

i use 800x570 usualy, so there are no scrool bars
