Was just playing around with some new ideas today at work - not really sure where I am going with this yet .. but your comments and suggestions would be much appreciated :)

maybe try a blue background with barely visible scanlines? :)

Behind the actual image itself - in place of the gray or where the scanlines are right now ? Thanks for your suggestions ..
