i know this sounds sarcastic but when you open photoshop if you not sure what everything is dont be shy click the help up the top

if you can use a browser you can use any program just some better than others eventually you will be telling everyone how to use it .... maybe by the time they release photoshop 8or9

The best way to learn the basics of photoshop is to buy the book: Classroom in a book by Abode. It's fast and to the point:-)
