hey crew, been a minute I know, just been busy with work, (overworked and tired) and the heat here sucks, this humidty stuff isnt for me, i miss the Coast badly.
C'mon boss man, pull a man out there...:D
These are some recent shot, the first one is long exposure of this fountain where i go and think sometimes with junior.
The second two are of Ha Ha Tonka, the first pic tells the story of this place, that i tried to remember in full.
The last one is a b/w shot . I saw this walking one sunday morning early. Reminded me of childhood.
Ha ha pics-
Black and white-
hope you enjoy, and thanks for viewing...

Nice to hear from you again Mike! Sorry to hear your job is taking so much time :(
Tell me when you have holiday, and I'll come pick you up with my scooter :P :lol
Oh right, the pics ;)
The fountains looks great... really nice colours and water-pics is really nice! The long exposure makes the water even nicer!
The Ha ha pic, is lovely, really nice ruins, but I think it's a bit too white...? Maybe some adjustments in PS would make it better? I dont know! But the comp. is really nice! The second pic of the ruins looks really good too! I love the sharp nice colours! Great!
The left behid (b&w) is maybe the one i like best. I can really hear the silence, and the light is perfect i think! Great depth and nice contrasts! Only one thing i dont like, can't see where the focus are?! Anyways, great shot!
Nice pic my friend!
Take care, and try to relax some time, dont let the job kill you! ;)

commented on the one at DA but all 3 are quite nice.
You've really got an eye for composition and your timing with light placement really enhances the photos.
talk to you soon, man!
Keep a stiff upper lip!

I'm always amazed by your ability to combine great photography with great feeling, it's always a pleasure to see your work.
I'm sure it's the eye of an artist merged with the heart of a poet.

Really nice shots Mike. Did you PS the sky on the haha pics? If not that must have been a beautiful day. :)

hey frank thank you, no ps, i used a gradient polarizing filter to shoot those shots of ha ha tonka. I wanted to cut down on glare on the rocks, they are really light anyway, so i needed to capture the texture as well as the colors in the sky, and nature. Its a nice filter to use on things like this...The day was clear as can be, junior and I hiked all day, then got to the bottom where the spring is at, and swam in the lake. lol, it was hot too. Thanks mi amigo...

Good shots and a lot to look at
1. Really like the way you presented that one as a slide show. (Would make a cool animated gig)
2. Quite a sad story to that one. Reminds me of the arcitect who built the Budapest Paliment, took something like 40 yars to build and he died a month before it was finished - The pictures on that were good, I prefer the 2nd one though
3. Yeah Child hood seems so far away now doesn't it. Like the tricycle in the picture, makes it look like it was shot in the past.

Nice castle. Your poem made me think of the huge scabs I had on my knees as a kid.....well they seemed huge to me.
