Actions?

I notice on some of the tutorials it says "Get the action for this tutorial".. What does that mean? I looked over the tutorial (the water drops one, specifically) to see if I could figure it out without asking.. and I think I downloaded the actions, I just can't figure out exactly what it did....

I posted a signature thing, yeah! Without asking, even! (Ok, I had hubby's help.. stupid bravenet wasn't working so he came up with a solution)

Now... is the picture ok, or should I maybe find one a bit more umm clothed? :roll

Actions are recordings of a series of clicks and keystrokes. Photoshop comes with some actions and you can download more...or create your own.

Check out ACTION FX (http://www.actionfx.com/tut-Actionspalette1.shtml) The tips and Tutorials section should help you.

I can't answer the sig question. You'd have to ask Colin or one of the Mods if it's acceptable.

Ok, I'll find something more appropriate. Sincere apologies if it offended anyone. I didn't create it with the intention of using it as a sig for here, it just happened to be what I made while working with that particular tut. I like that artist.
