What do you think? What does it need? Just working at it because I didn't think the radial blur: zoom one had a good organic feel. Maybe it does, heck. Just working at it. :)

hmmm... looks good! but i dont think that the retina looks like it is part of the eye (it looks like it has just been whacked on top) maybe it needs some reflection on it? i dunno...

i agree the black part doesn't blend in. maybe because the texture in behind had the effect of moving inwards. (not sure how to explain it, sorry)

The Black part (Lense / Iris) looks as if its outside, leaving it unshaded and flat. The actual eye looks brill ! but the black circle needs to be slightly opaque, maybe with some highlights, Have a look at some pictures of some real eyes.

Love the eye, just not the black circle ! nice. :D

I think a small Gaussian Blur will do the trick
