Our Ethereal Path

I did not know if this was gonna come out. As we were finishing our hike and going back to my car, there is this path that they accesible for handicap people. Which i thought was great, they really want everyone to be able to experience this place. So I turned for one last look and I saw this. So i took a shot with a filter and this came out. A little shaky, but after 3 day of backpacking, and 60 lbs strapped to my back i was tired. Just wanted to show it, hope you like.. Minolta x700, iso 100.

Can we walk,
down this path to an ethereal place.
Where the other side holds the beauty,
that only compares to your face.
Its through the misty moutain,
with a painters palette, on the other side.
Its a place where you are safe,
where your eyes light up.
and where what you’ve searched for,
is now alive.
Just a feeling I had,
when i walked along this path.
I felt your presence next to me,
hoping it would last.
But when i turned,
the dense forest,
was fillling up with light.
The mist was fading,
the opening,
was now a thing in the past....mh

Well thank you crew, really thank you. The funny thing about this shot is it was the last shot on the roll. I honestly didnt think it would come out. I shot a vertical one two, but nothing compared to this shot. These are places i love to see, love to explore. It makes me think, and really opens my vision even more.

Sam, thank you my friend, thank you. That is exactly what i saw when walking down this last stretch. And hoped it came out. :)

Tech, thank you sweetie, never really thought of myself as poetic, just thoughts i have that linger around inside. Alot of this is really coming back to me, I buried alot of my art stuff, because i what i was going through. Now it seems like more and more of it is coming back, I guess it takes hard times to bring back the passion that made you you. But I am happy where i am going, still missing certain things in life, burt hopefully they will come to. Still alot of struggles, except now, my mind is clear, and junior being with me, makes me push harder, and definately not let myself slide away from it all. Thanks hon.:x
