here is an incomplete CD case for a band (justified Tyranny) see what you think... into hevy metal etc. by the way there is no album title as of yet, hense the "album title" :)

It's cool! But i think the text is a little bit hard to read. Add a stroke a glow or something to lift it from the dark background! Great work!

Thats really awsome, i agree with traxter tho, the text is a little hard to read. You could always just change the font color, a glow may make things a little to complicated.

what size does a cd cover have to be?

is their a default size

the front cover of a CD is about 12cm x 12cm

Are you just doing monochrome? If not, the T thing in the middle would look awesome in a deep crimson.

im afraid i cant remember, just measure a cd case ur wanting to cover :D
thanks for the comments, i was really trying to keep a dark theme going, though i never thought of crimson, ill give it a go, thanks Phil :)

resolution: 300
size: width- 9.5"inches.
heigth. 4.75" Inches.

thats the long ways, so if you draw on the right its like drawing on the front cover. if you draw on the left is the back.

remember to devide it with a devision line so you know what is front and what is folded back.:)

The red glow makes the case look brilliant but i have one suggestion...the text uve used isnt very unique cos ive seen it millions of times...i know its very hard to find a 'unique' font but i think it would look better with a different font...just my suggestion, its ur work so everythings up to u

You need the band in there. I can't read the text very well either....no offense but i think it could be a lot better.
