Hi all,
How is this back ground effect created. Look closely at several of the posters. Many have the exact same back ground. The COLOR is changed/customized to match each team color etc.

Can someone show me a simple technique for this?
Thanks,
Dan
ok so... thats my way of doing somthing similiar maybe someone have a better way.
1)create new layer then shift F5 to fill color black...
2)pick your favorit sports pic then cut your figure to be perfectly out of the original background.
3)copy 3 times the figure without the background.
4)hide them all so they wont confuse us.
5)now create new layer fill it with white select filtters-->render--->lightnning effect play with the effect abit change the color value.
6)now change the mode (where it says normal) and the opacity of the layer
7)take one copy of the figure unhide it place it somewhere press ctrl + u and check the colorize box play with hue to get desired color.
8)lower opacity on figure then right click get into blending options outer glow play with it to desired effect.
9)now create few stright horizental lines with the color u picked place them use filter-->blurr-->motion blurr and then play with opacity
10)use the other figure copy with no opacity and with outer glow as well and boom u created your own sport somthing pic :)
sry if i made it too complicated hope u enjoy :)
