Anyone interested in a photo project? ( Photos added) :: Post Photo of your hometown

I was thinking that it might be a nice idea to have a littlle project together. My idea is kind of presentation of everyone`s hometown. Lets say some 5-10 photos repsenting the town or area where we live. Like streets, monuments, people, buildings etc.. No deadline..photos can be added one by one or so.. What you think guys?

JimG ~ Cool shots. Interesting building (1st pic), what is it's purpose? ...besides keeping the widow cleaner guy busy all the time?:D The third scene reminds me of city photos from 'early 1970's National Geographic Magazine.
Juha ~ Awesome colors you are achiving. I like the angle and graphic detail in the third shot and the textures in the other ones.

That first in the series is the back side of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, really odd looking for sure, but if you look at it from above....it looks like an record player. The part pictured there would be the stand for the arm.

Nope, no HDR, just a tripod and a long exposure, about 20-30 seconds if I recall correctly
no post processing either

The building in the foreground is the Ottawa Yacht club and in the back are the Canadian Parliament Buildings, a couple of museums and hotels and the Supreme court of Canada.

this is my first attempt to post an image here at The Cafe. i hope i'm doing this right as i've never tried it before with Flickr. if i should do something different, for either here or there - please let me know and i'll try to do it.

this being a trial and test and because some of my equipment ran into a brick wall of electricity... or something else (because i really dont know what happened) it's a photo i did a few years ago and just now uploaded to Flickr.

this is a beach about 15 minutes +/- from where i live on Windward Oahu - Hawaii.
