These are a couple of designs that I am working on for Twisted Ink Tattoo Parlor here in NM. The first one is for some of their advertising that they will be sending out. The second design will be printed on shirts; black sweatshirts and t-shirts. The dragon is the same one that I was working on before, only now it is different in terms of color, shading, etc... C&C always welcome, appreciated, and accepted. Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I was thinking that the first dragon had a bit too much going on with the "outer glow" effect.

MS, I did the type layout in Illustrator and then imported the dragon from photoshop.

Seems like the first one is more evil and violent looking, because there's more black and red. The second one has more light and looks more well-behaved to me, like my dog. The red glow makes the first one look a little bigger also.
Nice touch on that textured background.

Interesting. There are elements of both I like. I prefer the dragon outline in #1 which makes the image less flat. The second dragon is more detailed, giving it added depth and shape. I'm not fond of the dripping green in back of the dragon. Is the background suppose to be an eye? Maybe a little stronger yellow around the text, but not stronger than the yellow around the dragon.

Hello, thanks for your feedback. No the background isn't supposed to be an eye, just a background. Actually, the original piece that I sent off didn't have the drip on it. That actually came about as a suggestion by the head artist.

Both designs were approved and accepted by the shop. Everything will be going to print soon, just gotta send the seps. Thanks all.
