Castle HDR *added one more shot (no HDR)*

Caerphilly Castle in HDR

Made the HDR but wasn't satisfied with the sky, so i processed it again in photomatix and this time focusing on the sky. In photoshop than put the layers together and used a mask....

I like the objects in the water, which I assume are some sort of water fowl, and the tents at the far right. Kinda bounces the eye back around to the left side of the image to look it all over again.
Picture postcard perfect.

What's causing the orange glow on the front tower there? Is that the sun reflecting off it? Was it wet or something?

It was about 22.00 hrs and i think it's the sun reflection. I took three photos of it and made them into HDR.

Here's one from the other side and processed in RAW. I found some presets and used it, it came out great...

It refers to Monty Python and the Holy Grail, a movie that was a spoof on medieval England. In that movie the knights don't actually have horses, they sort of pretend to be riding and they have jesters banging coconuts to simulate the sounds of horses galopping.

Lovely shot! There's something at left of frame (just on the horizon) that seems to involve wires and looks like new-fangled witchery in contrast to ye olde castell of great authentic appearance. That bugs me. In contrast, to the right of frame- the tower looks like it's falling down - spectacular!

True! Some of those tents are in the way of the shot, but making them disapear isn't an option for me because these tents are the finishing touch! Don't know why but i think that...

And yes it's cheese :lol, not scotch fotodog! It's Wales not Scotland :)
