Ok so a heads up, i've been bought a birthday subscription to NAPP, so i've been over there for the last few days just making myself at home, i'm pretty damn excited about it :lol :roll
So i'll commit myself to doing this comp image today, you ain't getting rid of me that easily lol
Out of all the photoshop forums on the internet, both here and NAPP are my favorites :x

As promised here it is.
My original idea was to have the plane tilted over and shooting at tanks, in a street just like this one, but alas after an exhaustive search for a plane at the right angle, i turned up empty handed. I have a few other projects going on at the moment so this will have to do for this one. Thanks Jusu and i'll be waiting to see what EVERYONE else comes up with.

WoW Cfire, looks like traveling to a new dimension lol, great job :)
I can't guarantee that i'll be participating in the next one, i have gravitated to the NAPP forums and Kelby Training for awhile, as well as recently buying ArtRage "a real media painting program", i am spending lots of time on it's forums as well.
I wish you guys all the best and hope things really pick up round here ;)
Silentman out...

i didnt realise how poorly done this was until i looked at the high res image of it again after almost a year of not seeing it. this was a first try at destruction. im starting over again with new skills learned this go round and hopefully #2 will look more realistic. im posting the image i did followed by the origional pic i used.
http://fc00.deviantart.com/fs49/f/2009/202/6/c/6c66c82522f5c3b83a47a77691c08bb1.jpg
ok heres the deal on this image. this one was for practice. yes that is King Kong in the sky, i got that from the King Kong movie website. it was a downloadable walpaper. i have no intention of using "KING KONG" in the final version that will be printed and distributed, just havent found the right gorilla picture to use yet.
also below is the origional image of seattle that i used, heres the deal on that. it also will be a different (self taken) image in the final version.
this is what i posted with this image on DA
"This is the origional image i used for "The Gorillaz In The Mixx - The Apocolypse" mixtape album cover. I came across this image years ago and since have lost the info on who took the pic. i would love to give credit to who ever took the photo but i simply dont know who it was, i found this image in a google search years back and it doesnt seem to come up in the same search now. so for the time being all i can say is I DID NOT TAKE THIS PHOTO! lol i origionally saved this image as a practice image, no intention of stealing someone elses work"
now here is the pic

and i really hope i covered all basses to avoid being consittered a ripper. like i said above, this was a practice image and if you know who shot the origional image of seattle please let me know so i can credit it to the right person. thanks
