I think the smudge is too much :(
Sometimes (or most of the time), less is more.

The smudges almost become brush strokes to me.

makes me feel like there should be some texture to them.

very cool!

I like the textured feel about it, and the colours work well, but the signs do disrupt the harmony. I reckon something great will come out of it :)

I really like this one... the image seems to be an impresionist painting, the smudge works well for me....( this is my opinion) I think there is a lot of movement in it. The colors are nice too, but agree about the signs, for me the center point of your work is the figure in black so everything else around this figure works ok. Good luck, love to see the final....!

Yuha,
In the bottom right hand corner there seems to be a young person (it looks like a girl to me) sitting on the ground.
A good story line to me would be, if she was clear, (as original) and the rest was blurred. It would give the impression of a young person looking at a totally fast blurred surrounding and wondering if she would end up like the rest of the adults.
Some of the static items in the pic would be unblurred also, like the road signs and buildings, with just the hurried, rushing people blurred.
Just a thought.
Regards
Jim

Thanks Jim, storyline is the fact that we have got beggars ( mostly foreigners from eastern europe) and i think that its guite common in whole EU. The lady is the beggar. My idea is to look the distorted or unreachable world through her eyes..so here is some updates i made for my work. Some more hard edge brushes and some soft edges, color adjustments etc...

Very fur like and certainly different to the original. Still thinking whether I like it or not but it is not my concept or perception that counts, it is yours.:cheers

Very nice you've got a nice impressionistic style (sort of Munch like) developing and it is indeed fun to watch. :cheers
