Here are a couple of pix I took with my digital camera (Sony Dsc-717-F). These are untouched exactly as they came out. (they look better big) We were in my friend's jeep and I stuck the camera out the side and held it really low, close to the road.

Nice shots, where they shot on auto, because it didn't stop the road or the tires, which is a good thing. :lol
Rainer- I thought for sure you would be driving one of those red things. :lol

80% of the time I shoot from lower angles in reference to the subject, it gives the subject an appearence of dominance, especially when shooting autos. Try cropping into the vehicle, filling the canvas with a portion of the fender, bumper or wheel.
Digital is tons of fun and great tool for any designer. But, there are a lot of variables to consider when you move out of the "auto" mode..............:) Nice pics Colin

Never mind about CA drivers with cell phones....what about those guys who drive around with a camera in hand? Soon we'll need a hands free for those too.:lol
Cars don't do much for me but if I really had to, I could drive the red one. Did you put the motion blur on it or were you racing the guy?
Why don't you post an image of your car. I recall it's pretty impressive too.

no motion blur, we were moving, I think the guy in the Ferrarri felt harrassed with me hanging out of the car talking pictures of him. Hey we have to be shameless to get the shot right?
I will post one of my car as soon as I wash it ;)

I think it would have been better to take the pic while in front of the car, I have a pic of another person taking pics of my car, makes a better motion pic.
But overall very nice!
