View Full Version : Upgrading to vista?
hello guys!
I am going to buy new pc for graphic use, but it seems that everyone of them have Vista inside. I have heard that Vista have had quite a lot of problems. I don`t want to go for Mac because then i have to buy all my graphic programs, like photoshop, again. I like to hear your opinions and experiments on Vista and its different versions on graphic use. And yes new Windows 7 is also coming out maybe this year

I run Vista on my mac no problems. I think the complaints were over exaggerated

Agree with kiwi, running vista all the time in a parallels box on a mac and it works great if u like that kinda thing.
Thank you guys, what Vista version do you have? It seems that those pc seem to have Home Edition, but i was thinking that maybe i order custom made pc and maybe the version should more..like ultimate? and also what graphic cards you are using?

just noticed that the beta for Windows7 is out for all to download and try...good till August or so. Has anyone else put that on a mac with Parallels 4? if not, I guess I will be the first here to try. The only problem I have with Vista is that its slower then XP was in the same space.
Wow you guys have quite a nice toys there :D About Windows 7, Yes indeed its already in its beta phase and free to download. I understood that it have got quite a good critics already about being more stabile than previous Windows
