Hi all, I am back now from BKK and home in KTM where internet speed is as slow as a sick mule in a brick factory. So to update my new CS4 on the iMac, it's going to take 20 hours or so using Adobe updater. Unfortunately, the power is on here only for 12 hours at a time, tops, then there is a big break, which disrupts the download and u have to start over.

SO, I am wondering if the updates on my macbookpro downloaded in thailand in about 40 minutes, can be re-used on another machine? I looked for some sorta packages that could be reused on another machine but did not find any. Perhaps they are deleted after the update is applied? Is anyone here familiar with the update process at that level? thx!!!

You could just download the updates one at a time and run them as installers without going through updater

Thanks Kiwi, it finally worked. I don't know why Updater is so slow on my machines. The download only if network is inactive function seems to be inop...checked or unchecked it's dog slow. I guess using a download accelerator and finding all the individual files is the way to go if you have that kindof patience. but finally, CS4 master suite on all machines and updated...nice!
