my client is doing a series of interstitials with the pitnetwork and wants the pet networks logo on his site
i believe this is copy right infringement if i don't label it as the pet networks.
but what is the professional way to do it?
at the bottom of the page should i say the pet networks logo is property of the pet network or under the logo or use a *and then at the bottom have another * and a deceleration of rights or what?

If the client has permission to use the logo it shouldn't be a problem. Otherwise your really not suppose to use it, simply placing copyright on the page is not enough if they want to fight it, but it certainly doesn't hurt.

Then it shouldn't be a problem. Still a good idea to leave a note about the original copyright holder of the logo, similar to the note found at the bottom of my site, for Fireworks:

Excerpt:
Adobe, Adobe Logo, Fireworks, Drewamweaver and Photoshop are either trademarks or registered trademarks of Adobe Systems Incorporated.
