Jeff Healey, best known for Angel Eyes, passed away at the age of 41 after a long bout with cancer.

I was anticipating his new album. I really enjoyed his music.

Very sad. He was an amazing guitarist.
I remember he used to play his guitar on his lap because he was blind.

A friend of mine turned me onto him and his distinct bluesie style back in '94. It is a shame to lose such a talent at such a young age. Thanks for posting that as I have had my head in the sand as of late and didn't hear about it.

I found out his blindness was due to retinal cancer at the age of 1.

I also learned that he's played with such greats as BB King and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

I saw Healey years ago (2-3 songs) and it was an inspiring set.

I'd really like to see what his vinyl collection looked like. Sounds like he was quite the collector.

He will be missed for sure!
