I've recently designed a number of logos for a client pitch, one of which was picked. Whilst working at a pitch level everything was relatively small scale, so now i've come to the part of working up a hi-res master version of this chosen design.
The small scale pitch logo used an 'inner bevel' layer style (layer >>> layer style >>> bevel and imboss >>> inner bevel) to create a kind of shiny ball effect on a round circle. Depth and Size options were max'ed out to get the full roundness effect of a ball... looked great. BUT, when i come to re-create the hi-res master logo (500mm x 500mm @300dpi) the maximum depth and size that the inner bevel options palette allows are not great enough at this scale to achieve the same roundness, the result is a flat circle with slightly round edges!
Any solutions?? I've tried overlaying a spherical gradient to achieve the same effect but its just not the same.
