Is there any way to invert a mask? I want my black to become white and vice versa... I tried rightclicking on the mask, but theres no invert mask option...

Ctrl click on mask to load selection, Shift+Ctrl+I to invert ( Or select>inverse), Alt+Backspace to fill with lets say in this case black, KEEP SELECTED, then Shift+Ctrl+I again and Alt+Backspace with white, just use black or white where needed- Make sure you have the mask thunbnail selected.

Elaine is correct! In fact you could apply a mask to a layer holding down the Alt key and that would fill your mask with black and hide any filters or whatever you applied to your layer and then paint it back in with white.

Ctrl+Shift+I is to inverse a selection, for instance, if you had a person selected and you wanted to select everything else except the person you would use that short cut.

Pete and Elaine are correct CTRL+I will invert a mask, sorry I must have been having a "Blond Day".

Cheers,
