Gibson has released the Reverse Flying V (http://www.gibson.com/Promotions/ReverseFlyingV/)
I'm not sure how I feel about it.
It looks kinda silly to me at first.
but then everyone thought that of the Explorer too.

looks like a big arrow. Really cool looking guitar. I imagine you could only play it standing up though, couldn't rest that on your lap

Colin,
Funny! That was my same thought. No way to play that thing sitting down!
Good to "see" everyone again. (I know, I've been gone a long time)

Funky looking. The gold on black is really sharp though.
I think Gibsons are way over priced to begin with. That would explain the myrid of Flying V clones on the market. I use to have a Cort "Flying V" back in 1982. An exellent looking (mine was red) and sounding (loads of sustain) and heavy (8-9 pounds) copy for a fraction of the cost. Dumbass me traded it for a Ruger .44 long barrel revolver. Now ya can't find the Cort model at all.

Fender RULES.... :lol
I like the Flying V..... Lonnie Mack plays one (AND a lot of others.... duh).
