Ok I don't know whether to consider this a work in progress or final cause I never know when i'm gonna go back in and adjust something. But it's a four panel illustration kinda meant to be for a Salon or something similar. The general concept was inspired by Patrick Nagel also.

Kryptic, man that's nice.
The only thing I notice is the chicks nose in the upper left hand corner. The nostrils stand out a little.
Great technique.
makes me 'Hungry like the wolf" ;)

Thanks everyone, i'm glad a old pinup style is still liked. When I saw his stuff I was like that is sooo definetly possible in illustrator.
foto: Thanks for pointing out the nose
adoi: lots and lots of contrast, I like white to ;)
tracey: I might do your illustration like that but with more color. :D
lunch meat: No prints here just his book with his work in it. I don't know if it has all of his paintings but it might.
tj: man you really are old, duran duran sheesh I was like five then lol ;)
p.s. i'm gonna work back through this illustration and check out all the details and probably submit it to my devart account. Not that anyone would really buy it ;)

Kryptic, You know i really like your illustration work. But I am gonna crit on a couple of them.
~Top left, it might be the nostril, but as a portrait artist i think it is the nose in general, it looks a little flat, the spacing of the eyes are just a tad off, eyes should be spaced one eye apart from the next. The second one on top looks fine just the left eye seems a little shorter than the right. That is my fav, the bottom left is perfect, nice pose on that one also. the bottom right is fine except the pupil of the left eye seems a little larger than the right, and the lips seem to close to the nose..But it is only MHO, they all look great and like i have told you before yes they do look like Patrick Nagle's work. Great job..
