Hi, i have a firewire enclosure and the powerplug into the case has broken pins, and there are no replacements in this country - one that still just sticks bare wire leads into wall sockets when power is needed. So I am going to do the same thing, on a smaller scale, and just solder pins to the ends of the leads and jam those into the socket on the case, but I don't know which wires to jam where. There are 5 inputs but just 3 or 4 leads in the cable...see diagram below. I would assume the red is the 12v, and then what? is the bare one the two grounds and the white and black the 5Vs? or some variation of the above? I probably should get it right before i blow out the only FW800 enclosure in the region.
Thanks!!!
