Hey guys..I need to know how to make a glow around people. I'm using an image...and I have turned the whole background black and white. And now I want to make it glow around just the two people in the picture. I just don't know how to get it around them. I know how to make the whole background glow..but how do I isolate it around them?? Please help!!! Thanks!

Well, first off forgettabout imageready. use photoshop for this. you got yes? must have... so what you have to do is isolate your subject, that means you need to get your subjects on a layer above your background, with the background masked or cut out. How to do that? well, there are many ways and many tools. I use plugins, faster. One is Vertus Fluid Mask. Another is Ultimatte (but that works best if the background is a solid color, like greenscreen). But whatever method you use to "cut out" your subjects, here is how to get the glow:
1. on the subject layer use layer style/blending options/outer glow.
2. ur blend style will probally be screen, but play with the options there to get the effect that you want. click on the color block to change the color of the glow.
3. have fun, that's it.
I just finished doing this when i read your post. Here are two "subjects" with a faint glow around them:

I actually don't have Photoshop...I had the trial version..but it expired. :( Soooo...just ImageReady. But I think I got it. I added a layer and deleted everything that I didn't want. It looks ok...it just took forever!!! But thank you very much for helping!!!!
