pixels appearing all over screen

Im using a pc with xp and ati graphics card.Ive got random pixel dots appearing on the screen which increase all over the photoshop splash screen when I start up in particular.Its not the operating system fault as I have burnt back from a previous working image of the system.Also switched moniters but its not the moniter. My system has been working for about 3 months with no problems.I switched performance excelleration back to none which stopped it for an hour or two but now im seeing some minor pixel dots here and there again.Anyone know what this might be or where I can get further help

sounds like graphic card issue.

sounds like one of 2 things, you have over worked your Graphics card and done some damage or you are using non ATI Drivers i.e OMEGA Drivers. you really need to be carefull when overclocking your Graphics cards because the heat generated can cause instability. hope this helps.

Maybe you can try and test it with other graphic card.
