ok, its simple, u just have to pick what browser u most like!

and if you want, tell why it's your favourite!

if ur choice is none of the ones listed, just vote on the Other option, and post a reply saying what is the one u most like!

I gave my vote to avant browser because (and I'm serious) if you take one look at it, you just think that all browsers need to learn how avant design the avant browser!!! Aesthetically sweet, pleasing and everything I want how it looks. It is also highly customisable and it is just a beauty.

http://www.avantbrowser.com/

*Note, I had experience with Avant before and it was by request of Mr PM(because he wanted to make a poll on browsers and asked for the browsers I know) that I decided to try the new Avant build just 10 minutes ago and well, I'm not disappointed. Surfing wise its faster and a lot safer and it simply beats FF in user experience(esp the looks) hands down and flatly down.

Next in my list is FF2 and then Opera, IE needs to buck up. I have never touched Safari or Netscape, so wouldnt comment.

For me it's still Firefox!! In the early days i used Netscape all the time, there was no browser better than that. Netscape destroyed that by wanting money for it!! After that i used Opera, very very nice BUT also money was the issue...

001. Firefox
002. Netscape
003. Opera
004. All the other browsers in the world (even the ones i never used...
999. IE!

Never heard of Avant and so i tried it but it looks to much like IE for me (it's on the same engine!!!)

He ray - I downloaded it because you liked it so much!! Than i looked at my new design and saw the same error in avant (with my affiliates page). In FF the affiliates are in the middle of the page, in IE there not!!

I do essentially the exact same thing. When I was selling my old iMac, however, the company requested that an Apple Tech come over and test the machine (it must've cost them an extra 30% to do it, so I'm not really sure why they did it). Anyways, he gave me this "Safari Debugger 2.8" that supposedly helps with Safari's compatibility. Can't really comment of whether it's been working or pages are becoming more and more Safari compatible. Regardless, I always have it running.

I have to say FF, but I do like Safari a lot. If the Mac was my primary computer, it would be Safari all the way.

I have no love for Microsoft, but IE7 may be the best browser they ever made. It still has it's quirks, but it's getting better.

firefox is winning, but its a surprise (at least for me) cos safari is near...

i didnt know it was that popular... but i guess its almost cos its a good mac web browser right? so all mac users vote it.. is that it?

1. firefox
2. safari
3. opera

All others used for testing only. Safari would be #1 if not for all the bugs in windows. But it's close for me. The screen render engine in Safari produces "brighter" type. Opera installs with a working news feeder/reader that works and handles tabs better then FF and safari, and also has better interface customization scheme, although the themes are better in FF. All the others are too quirky to live in.

But i still have a special place in my heart for OS/2 web explorer which i worked on during my IBM days...

::FLASH:: new version of PC Safari released last night on Apple Update. THEY STILL DON'T HAVE NVIDEA SUPPORT! Browser windows won't work on dual window setup. Arg...

I like and use that icon, it's a good one. Here are some Safari upgrades available as a free download at the iconfactory:

http://www.extreme-nepal.com/forumboards/screen-capture-safari.png

I am moving back towards safari as my main stayallthetimein browser since they upgraded it to 3.0.4 on the mac. I just get tired of all the confusion in OS X when setting firefox as the default browser; it does not seem to stick and some programs just ignore the setting. i guess ya can't fight city hall. :lol

Well, right now I have different preferences:

1-Opera
2-Firefox
3-Safari
4-IE

It's ray's fault... she spoke me about Opera, and now i can't drop it...

rAyVoLvEz

My preferences now:
1. Opera
2. Chrome
3. FF3

PM, don't blame me! Blame Opera for being that good, its more than a browser, its an internet suite!

Here's that topic again :lol

Mine is still Firefox, sometimes Opera. Before my "computer crash" i used Opera because firefox could move a thing!

But now it's up and running like crazy, smooth.

All other browsers (IE, Safari (leeks!), Chrome, Netscape) i use for testing! MultiIE on another computer also for testing.

Firefox all the way, Opera just doesn't do it for me, they are too focused on UI and fails miserably at some aspects of SWF support.

Firefox Always!!

The browser itself is good, but the more interesting thing are the add-ons extensions and the huge community working behind the shell.

I dunno, if you guys agree, i can post a new thread...

Mozilla Firefox is easy, fast and secure than any other browser and its support to Fire bug and other addons is really great. It is good for any software industry to develop products or anything. Opera and some other browsers are also good but Firefox rocks!!
