3D Giant Spider Animation

We had shoot some good footage and live camera track the footage within 3d software(I forgot the tool's name), then model out everything we need for the short in Maya, including the environment proxy models. Finally we composite via Shake and export the film with Adobe Premiere.

Looked like a scene from spiderman or something...except it wasn't a man..its was a really huge spider----EXCELLENT WORK... and it does look real....

Very nice...I guess the only thing i thought I'd like to see was the car moving more when the, i'm guessing 400lb plus, spider jumps on it, other than that, it was awesome!
