Conforming One Shape To Another

Okay, I have two vector shapes in Illustrator. I want to make this shape:

conform to the path of this shape:

http://homepage.mac.com/seahorsecaptain/.Pictures/two.gif

How do I do it?

Off the top of my head, try Object > Envelope Distort
