Hi. I have created a table in Indesign, I now wish to apply a pattern fill to certain cells in the table, is this possible in CS2??

Yes, you may fill a cell with a pattern or a photo. It’s a little tricky.
You do by creating an Inline Graphic.

Numerouno, You probably have discovered, you can’t use the Selection tool to select a cell and paste or import a graphic into it.
Tables use the Text Tool.
CS2-Create an Inline Graphic.

Look at the example. Hope this helps.

One last mention about Inline Graphics. They are just not limited to or just useful for Tables.

The key thing here to remember they are CHARACTER text attributes not Objects. When text is edited, these anchor graphics will travel with your flowing text.

Amazing! Read up on Inline Graphics for more info.

Krb's helpful tips and tricks: with flowing text my graphic is the same height size as the text leading. This way it does not throw off my Base Alignment. ;)
