Type tool problems in PhotoShop CS3 Extended on a MacBook

Hi,

I am having two problems with the Type Tool in CS3 Extended on a MacBook:

1. When entering point type, hitting return does not move to a new line. The cursor disappears and nothing else happens.

2. When entering paragraph type into a bounding box, the text does not wrap. It continues in a straight lines and seems to disappear outside of the box. However, if I delete the text inside of the box, the "disappeared" text appears inside the box, but ONLY when there is room made on the first line. It never wraps down to a second line.

I keep thinking there must be a simple solution, but I'll be darned if I can find it.

So far I have reset the tool, reset Preferences, and made sure the "No Break" option in the Character Palette is not checked.

Help? Please?

Make sure you leading in your text palette isn't set to a ridiculously hogh value. This happens to me sometimes when I'm switching between different sized text. I'll switch my type point to 12 but the leading's still set to 229 :P.

Well, lebowski, that was it indeed. The leading was set at 1250 or something equally ridiculous.
