I have a hyperlink to another website that I want to open in a new window. I go to windows-Behaviors-+-open browser new window, then type in the url ''url to display'' of the hyperlink I want to open in a new window.
as soon as i roll-over the hyperlink it opens up 2-3 windows, i dont left click w/mouse or anything. Whats wrong? How can i fix? i just wanta window to open in a new browser whenm i click the hyperlink.

you probable have the behavior on mouse over. Go to the behavior and right click on the "mouse over" change it to "onClick".

This is what i always do:

Select the tekst (or image) and type in javascript:; in the Link menu. Than i can open the behaviors and select Open Browser Window. Make sure it's says onClick

sample of that what i mean (http://home.planet.nl/~herman68/downloads.htm)

Ok I changed it to onclick. It opens the URL in a new window. But it doesnt stay at my present URL, when I click the link, it changes my present URL, to the url I want in a new window. I want my present url to stay.
I make sense ? helpppppppp

Did you specify in the link section (on the bottom) javascript:;? Because it works fine with me. See the link above

Glad we could help.

There is a great book, but i don't have it. There's also a dvd, and that's what i have....

Take a look here, it's all COLIN SMITH!!! http://www.photoshopcafe.com/video/videos.htm or
http://www.photoshopcafe.com/resources.htm

The dvd is one that helps building a complete website => from designing in Photoshop to Dreamweaver...

It doesn't handle all the things in dreamweaver but it sure get's you further.

* lightbal above Colin's head! Another idea for a book!*
