View Full Version : Website problems

It seems that when I upload my site to the server the links are screwed up. When I view the source code the links are still pointing to the files on my computer and not the files on the server. Not sure what is going on. I've never had this problem before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

How are the links set in your site design?
If you've got the full file path in the code try replacing the "C:/Documents and Settings/Owner/My Documents/Local Sites/Imaginetive Touch Studios" with "./" that way they should work it out for themselves.

I'm confussed. I am using a template that I created. So where should I put the "./" Not sure what that means or how that works. ....sorry for the confussion. I have never ran into this before.

Thanks Ray I fixed them. The only screwed up link is the css style sheet link. I'm just confused as to why the links were screwed up in the first place. My saving grace was that I designed the site from a template that I created in dreamweaver so I only had to change the links once and not 80 times. (Thanks Colin for that advice. You saved me hours worth of wor!) I'll buy you a beer at the next PS conference:cheers
