Liquid Text Tutorial Help

Okay, I'm having troubles with Step 10 of this tutorial (http://photoshopcafe.com/tutorials/liquid-type/liquid-type.htm). My chrome type doesn't get dark like it shows in the image at all. It's still really white with a few silver shadows. I've messed and messed with the settings, but the ones there don't work for me and neither do any others. Help?

I'm having problems with that same tutorial, except it's the lighting effects step I'm having difficulty with. >.< How did you get the lighting effects step to work?

When i apply filter>sketch>chrome, my text becomes even more white, not black as it should, according to tutorial. What am i doing wrong, I mean i am past channes steps, should i do anything with those channels now?

Can someone make the word TARA in liquid text effect? i need it on #000000 black background. Thanks.

i cant have it done, ive been trying for the last 2 days.

EDIT: I need it to be at least 110pt text
