Hi guys
I am a member of a camera club, and next months topic is silhouettes.
when the sky is not sunny, its not so easy to photograph silhouettes, sooo does anyone know of good tricks to produce them, and make them look the real thing.

Well, do you mean in photoshop or the real thing. If you mean the real thing, I don't think it has to be sunny, it depends on how much control you have with the camera, can you use it manually ?. Just compose your scene so that it is backlit, even if it's not sunny, place your subject, so any available light comes from the other side of your subject, and set your cameras meters to balance the background only. If you want to do it in photoshop, well that is another story, but even if you do it in photoshop, you will have to have a good image to start with, or it may be obvious that it was altered.

Why not use a shadow? They are perfect sillouettes.
