some questions re beta CS3

I've downloaded CS3beta and have encountered a couple of issues:
1) I can't seem to load third party filters
2) When selecting brushes, I only seem to get the precise brush (the one with a +) and not the brush size brush (that shows size and shape of brush) even though I have made changes in preferences.
Is this because it is the beta or am I not soing something right?

Are you using an Intel Mac?
You might find the FAQ here (http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/categories.cfm?forumid=72&catid=626&entercat=y) to be informative.

Thank you TomM. I do have an Intel Mac and the FAQ helped (recommended going into PS info and setting it to "open with Rosetta")

Yep those are known issues with the beta
