Attention !
1) As usual, the request to homeplayers will be to keep your challenge do-able and within(or challenging but do-able) the abilities of your opponent, don't choose something that your opponent can't do. Always talk to your homeplayers if you can't handle any challenges, such discussion to be valid only if the challenge is really totally out of your limits.
Winning is a great feeling, but win graciously and openly.
Have fun and learn well!
2) No changes to battle announcement after Monday/Tuesday and if you are providing any images/resources, please provide along with your announcements. This is to prevent any unneccessary disputes/conflicts arising due to late additions/edited battle topics/announcements.
If you need clarification to your battles or need to contact your home player, please cc(carbon copy) a copy to xoco(at)rayvolvez(dot)com or u2u to me/PM. Let me know if you do not hear from your Home player. Thank you.
3) Last but not the least, please do not post comments that might or are in attempt to influence results in your battles. You may explain your work to voters if there is a need to, but do not say anything that is against the interest of your opponent. Let's be good sport in game and not spoil the true meaning of learning here. Two match ban for anyone guilty of it upon second offence. No bans or penalties on first offence. I hate it when fun are spoilt.
Thank you.

Make the picture based on some ancient myth or legend. You can use whole legend or one detail of it and choose it for your work. You can draw or make photomanipulations, what ever you want. Your work can be loyal to ancient times or you can modernize it. But pls name the myth you have used and maybe its good if we shortly tell about legend we have used in our works, at least if the used myth is less known.
Contact me if you need more info
Best of inspiration to you:cheers

Sorry but I thought that Slots was back playing. I don't agree to the dual playing plan, I mentioned that as a Joke. I agree in substituting him, so please let me know if I have to "play home" in his name or what. Sorry but this is confusing for me.

Marthig v. Josh
I saw you are good at photomanip Josh and also drawing, so I propose a space scape thingy. Sci-fi type.
I thought to post this link as an example of what I mean by Space Object (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/42878754/?qo=17&q=by%3Amarthig&qh=sort%3Atime+-in%3Ascraps)
Condition there has to be a planet or space object drawn exclusively by the poster, the background could be manip and or brushes, also of course it could all be drawn by the poster. All the best for both
The rest of the image and posting conditions just as stated by the rules. Please U2U me if you need some clarification.

JMe vs. PM
Create a Photoshop Remote control, a handheld device to control almost every feature availible in PS. The actual remote structure must be 100% PS.
It also must contain a small, built in graphics tablet come mouse controller.
Ideas for things to include are:
--shortcuts to 'file, edit' etc
--the PS toolbar ( the little bar down the side with gradient tool/brush etc.)
--An on/off button
-- a pen to control tablet
--anything else you can think of! Price isnt an issue so coat it with gold if you want!
:lol

Make a funny vehicle
The challenge is to make a funny vehicle/vessel, like a car, tractor, bicycle, boat, plane, glider, just any “human or animal transportation machine”.
You must use two music instruments, one piece of clothing, three household items (like small machines, furniture, dishes, etc) , two small animals (could be used as driver and passanger, too), 2 – 4 wheels, a box and a rope plus three other things of Your own choice. So these things and nothing more must be used.
You can use photos or draw the components, or both. Present Your work at 500x700 or 700x500. You can use any background You like.
Hope You have fun with this.
:cheers

Nice challenge.. Just a little question, must the full part of the object be used? Like am I allowed to cut out parts of an object to use?
Hannu

cool!!
just a little doubt: it is 100%PS right?

Loky vs. Daz
draw/make a samurai sword BUT you must do it in Phostoshop. No illustrator. :P You can break the rules of the original sword but don't overreact. Think of it like a manga/anime sword(like in Final Fantasy, Samuray 7 etc). Hope you understand. The main focus is the sword (you can put a background or not, but that won't be the main focus). you can save the picture in two sizez. one large enough to fit the screen(to see the whole picture) and if you want a bigger one(high resolution) for the details. If you have question, u2u me.

Theme: Retro Design
Subject: Poster for Concert or Festival
Challenge: Create a poster for concert or festival that depicts a retro feeling. Choose the era of your choice (60's psychedelic, 70's punk, 80's blues) as long as it's similar to the era and genre. Should be mostly photoshop but images may be used as reference or subjects. Normal sizes apply

Unless you count screen shots then yes. Although ,if you want to add a backround image thats fine, as long as it doesnt affect the actualy 'remote'.

The X-Ray...
The idea is to use a photo of a person and over a portion of it create a x-ray screen.
For example...
The black and white, inverted area would be the x-ray (you know, the bones).
The red border is just for show. Create any border you like.
Use any image of your choice as long as it doesn't distract from the image.

If you need any explanation, let me know.
