I'm looking at this for the tenth time..

Can't decide.. Both didn't have the pencil sketch look that I would really fall for..

My vote goes to Solo cause loky's looks like a photo still, I can't see it as a drawing.

Just a thought, using the same picture to work on will be easier for pp to judge.. loky has a great shot of a girl in it which could get votes swayed that way..

I vote for loky. As per my experience solo's job is like a water coloring, i see more drawing thing in loky's job.

My vote to solo. This is a pretty nice work,theme is simply deep with nice drawing like look, make a poster out of it with a theme childrens well being or so, its deeper than loky`s...

My vote goes to Solo.
The reason why? It's in the details. I had the same trouble choosing like any other, but i think solo's background comes better to his right then loky's. On the bottum there are (i think) some letters or something, i would of take that away before i would of started.....
Very hard to deside. Good one for the both of you.

Just my opinion, I see this as more of a techniques battle than a poster or design battle. So stuff like whether it is deep or not, whether the background was better or not, should not have been the main consideration factor.

That said, I think that it might have been a lot better if both of you had agreed on the same image to avoid the sidetracking of votings arising due to image differences.

truthfully, neither turned out like a drawing, solo's one is more of a waterpainting or painting than drawing.. i gave it to solo because it is less photo like, wherein loky's is still lookin like a photo.. no offence to solo and loky hopefully..

Solo, your presentation definitely looks like a charcoal drawing, rather than a painting. Very interesting, very well done. In some way it is almost mesmerizing. Great Job.

im going to go for solo the strokes jsut seem a bit cleaner since its of a darker skinned individual. But very good job on loky. I think if the eyes were done a little differently you might have had it.
