I have a G5 (not intel) and want to attach another monitor. I am great at all software issues, but when it comes to hardware, I'm clueless. Can someone help me with instructions on how to install another monitor?

With the G5, you simply plug in a second monitor, there are slots for 2 in the back

I haven't set up my other monitor yet, but I was wondering if there was something in the preferences I also have to change so it can recognize two monitors as one.

I looked, but couldn't find anything. I know on a PC, this has to be done.
