Spam Note to all members

Recently a spammer got a hold of some of our members email's. The system was not hacked as you may think, but instead this was a MAJOR fault on the XMB team.

They display the email in clear-text on that page if available and unfourtunately this allows someone to simply scan those pages and "harvest" all the emails they want/need.

I have attached some very important info to assist in looking out for this email.


The possible subject of the email, please use common sense in case they reword it slightly.

Please DO NOT open or click an email that has a subject line or email address of this person, that will only provoke them and confirm an active email address.

We do apoligize but shy of writing XMB this would have never been discovered, I suggest any other XMB users to fix their systems.

Just a final note, I would like to assure ALL members that Colin and the Cafe team will/would never sell or transfer any member info regardless of severity. Excluding of course one exception, court or legal requirements.
