Thanks Greg! Yeah, I wasn't happy with the write speed before but I thought it had to do more with the memory card so I switched from the 4GB Hitachi Microdrive to the 2GB Lexar Pro 13 3X Speed Card. It supposedly writes about 4-5 X faster. The salesman asked if I was shooting running jaguars or something since I needed that kind of write speed. I'll let you know. :)

Got it last night and just opened it this AM. Woohoo, it's like Christmas in June!!! I'll post some pics from it over the weekend. :)

Awesome. I think you will be surprised with the color/clarity. The Dig- Rebel seemed too soft that I had andddddddd I think you might find it easier to calibrate? It might be in my head but my colormatch across the board, seems effortless.

Did you want to kick the salesperson in the shin? I hate when they get like that. You pay a lot of money and you should expect a lot and it was wrong to make an attempt to shoot you down for making an effort to get the most out of your Cam.

I am very happy for you and can't wait to see what you throw at us. :) Shoot 'em up ----Rawhide!

Cappy, I hear you and to top it off they sent me the wrong memory card anyway which although frustrating actually worked to my advantage as I got them to upgrade my lens for my troubles. :)

The only issue I have with my D70s is that the viewfinder is pretty small.

Other than that, I'm totally happy with it.

What I'm finding is that the creative processes I've used for film for almost 30 years are slightly different when it comes to digital.
