Hi,

I have a 4 color (according to printer) mhonochrome image from 3dsmax originally that I need to convert from 4 colors to 2 colors in Photoshop in order to meet the financial preferences of my client but I don't really know how to transform it?

Does anyone have any smart tricks on how this can be solved?

Thanks,

How involved would you like to get? Easy easy easy way is to convert to greyscale and then to Duotone.

If you want to figure out the truest colour match for the picture, duplicate the image, change the mode to lab colour, fill the lightness channel with 50% grey, sample the most vivid colour, click the foreground colour to find values (Press custom in the colours popup to get the PMS number)
