image cropping

how can i crop an image other than cropping it into a rectangle? cant i crop it into a diamond shape or free crop or something?

Cropping an image is always rectangle in shape. However if you want a special shape you can create a Clipping Path. Seach Photoshop Help on Clipping Paths.
