Who designed "the Cafe" logo. It is extremely interesting and quite a nice design. Any instructions on how do create that kind of effect?

That helped tremendously. I have done a few practice pieces using the bevel/emboss feature, including adding text like your logo. Only thing I didn't do is create a grid, I used one of the std patterns. This effect is great.
