Hello all,
I am new to this forum so I hope this is the correct way to post a question.
I have a problem with my photo software. When friends send me photos (at low res) as an attachment (MS Outlook), I can view the photos with no problem, but if i save them to either the hard disk (any folder or desktop) or a CD, the photos now look pixellated and the color is off. It doesn;t matter whether I view them through Photoshop or the MS Photo viewer - the same thing happens. (BTW I am using XP and Photoshop Limited Edition). The previously saved photos are fine, but anything I open now gets broken up. The file extensions can be either jpeg or psd - That doesn't seem to matter.
The only other thing that may be affecting this is that i recently uninstalled some nasty Kodak Photo software that a friend had downloaded onto the computer thinking it would be useful with the digital camera he lent me - Alas, it was not useful and I dumped it using the uninstall program. I suspect there is a link but can't figure out how to remedy this.
HELP!!!!!
