[answer]

Uploading an image
1) Upload your image to your website or you can use a free image host like ( imageshack (http://www.imageshack.us/) or photobucket (http://www.photobucket.com/) )

Displaying the image
2) Now place the path to the image in your post
3) Use "[img]" tags around the image path to display the image.

Things to remember
1) Some sites do not allow "hotlinking" (directly linking to an image)
2) Only jpg|png|gif formats are allowed
3) Please follow the filesize restrictions [The current filesize limit is 60k]
4) Please ensure that your image follows the CAFE guidelines for acceptable content.
5) Respect copyright when showing pictures. It is not "yours" just because you found it online.

You have a "Browse" at the bottom of the "Post New Topic" page. But I don't see anywhere to upload the image. What am I doing wrong?
Or maybe I'm just not doing any of it properly. How do I put up my entry for the Design Challenge 10?
Obviously I'm new at this.

When you first create your post with your design file click on the "Choose File" button (as shown in the screenshot below), which is right below the main text window. Then browse to where you saved your design on your computer and open it. Your design will now be attached to your post.

If you want to change your design after you've already posted it then choose the "Edit" button in the upper right corner. Next check the radio button for "Upload this file instead:" and click the "Choose File" button (as in this screenshot).

Upload your new design just as you did your first one and then click the "Edit Post" button at the bottom of the screen and your old design will be replaced by your new one.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I took a leap of faith & posted it even though it didn't show in the preview. And now I know that I don't have to tell it to upload the image.
Looking forward to being more involved in here, lots of talented people & I enjoy viewing their work.
