Looking for CD specs...

I applied to go back to school and need to do some stuff for my portfolio. One of the things I want to work on is a cd layout - ie: cover/back - inside spread....etc.

Anyone know where I can get the size specs for the layout? A blank template for indesign would rule. Thanks!

Jewel case CD covers are 4.75" x 4.75" (so a 4 panel booklet would be 9.5" wide by 4.75" high)... Oasis CD is a great place to find specs, templates, etc. in Quark and InDesign for CD projects:

for templates for cd and dvd inserts i found great templates on

There is also their free cd and dvd cover labeling software that you can download.
