help!

i just got quark express. I need to layout a ticket on a page to send to the printer. the ticket's width is 5.5 and the height is 2.127. I need to lay it out so i can print several on one page. Quark won't recognise jpeg or tiff files! So I can't even lay the pic out! Please help!

First I woud make a document to the size for one ticket. File-new-(add mesurements). Quark should recognize the .tif an.jpg files. You have to use the picture tool to create a space then get the picture. The key is you first have to create a place to put it. Use the Sguare with the X icon (this is your Picture box) the one with the type in it is is the text box.-shape your box-then get picture.

After all has been created/finalized on the one ticket... double triple or whatever you decide the number of tickets up are and make a new document. Group the elements in the old document and copy and paste the the repetitive number of times and move into the position it needs to go.

As simple as a ticket is... I would do it in Illustrator if you know that program.
