Can you make or edit icons with PS, ImageReady, or Illustrator?

You can make your own...depending on what Icon also...you talking about desktop??? or website Icons???
ys you can make them both but you have to get the sizes on either or also! :)

i dunno wthr there is an easier method but when i was working for a software company, i was instructed to save the icon design as a . bmp and convert into a .ico file with another standalone application program. This can be easily found in download.com.

I ended up taking a gif to a freeware program to make the ico file. Thanks. I'm surprised Adobe doesn't support this.

Phil, try iconbuilder. You will have to do a search, but used it a few times to create icons, works very well and is ps compatible..

there are plugin to do that on photoshop..don't remember the name tough..I'll search for it..
